Definitions of the main analytical terms used by Waveleta.

Status labels and alert severities describe Waveleta’s analysis. They are not personalised investment advice or instructions to execute a transaction.

Signal

A signal is a structured analytical output generated when Waveleta detects a defined set of market conditions.

WATCH

WATCH is a Waveleta analytical state. Waveleta is monitoring the market for meaningful development. Conditions are worth keeping in view but have not developed further.

MONITORED

MONITORED is a Waveleta analytical state. The market is part of Waveleta’s monitored set. Waveleta is monitoring it for meaningful development.

BUILDING

BUILDING is a brief Waveleta analytical stage label. Activity is developing across multiple market measures.

Setup confirmed

Setup confirmed (earlier called TRIGGER CONFIRMED) is a brief Waveleta analytical stage label. Waveleta’s defined trigger conditions are confirmed by the current evidence. It is not an instruction to buy, sell or place an order. The internal system value remains TRIGGER CONFIRMED; only the customer-facing label changed.

Alert severities

Alert severities customers may see: CRITICAL, HIGH, and WATCH. They rank the urgency of an analytical notice; they are not trading instructions.

Statuses not generated

Waveleta does not generate MOMENTUM SURGE, WEAKENING, or ENDED as customer-facing statuses.

Confirmation

Confirmation means that additional conditions monitored by Waveleta support or strengthen an analytical setup.

Signal lifecycle

The signal lifecycle describes how a Waveleta setup can progress through different analytical states as market conditions develop or change. See Signal Lifecycle.

Time horizon

A time horizon describes the period over which a Waveleta analysis or setup is intended to remain relevant.
